The family of a missing teen in Hamilton County is desperate to find answers. Fishers Police are now calling Hailey Buzbee an endangered missing juvenile.

It’s been two weeks since Beau and Ronya Buzbee have seen their daughter, Hailey. They’ve passed out more than 20 thousand flyers, posted flyers inside businesses, and have made countless social media posts about their daughter.

Still, no sign from Hailey. “We miss you so much and everything feels so incomplete without you,” said Beau.

His wife echoed the same sentiments. “If you’re listening to this, just let us know you’re okay and that you’re safe. Please come home.”

Hailey is a junior at Hamilton Southeastern. Friends and family say she’s a smart and caring girl who loves reading and being with her family. Her parents say she worked as a server at a local diner, and is an amazing sister and daughter.

According to Fishers police, the 17-year-old was last seen with her parents at their home in Fishers. Police originally thought she ran away from home on January 5th or the early morning of January 6th.

Now, police believe she did not act alone and willingly left the home with a plan. The case has now been upgraded from a missing teen to an endangered missing juvenile.

“As parents, you go from hopeful to hopelessness to being laser-focused. You know you’re willing to do anything just to find your girl,” Beau said.

FOX59/CBS4 spoke with a retired FBI agent and the current CEO of Veracity. He encourages parents to talk with their kids and to look for any signs that may raise questions. While it may be a fine line talking with your kids, it’s a conversation that’s necessary.

“Some signs include being withdrawn, hiding in the room, when you walk up behind them and they’re quickly turning their phone over or minimizing a screen when you walk in,” Kouns said. “Those little signs individually might not cause concern, but when you put them all together, you can sense something is wrong.”

The Buzbee family says they will do anything to get their daughter back, and they hope Hailey will return home soon, safe and sound.

“We’re all scratching our heads, you know, just trying to figure out the why and what may have happened,” said Beau. “I want to make sure she’s safe and we get her home.”
