After an unforgettable WNBA All-Star Weekend, Indiana Fever star Aliyah Boston took a moment to share her admiration for her rookie teammate Caitlin Clark – and fans are loving it.
During a post-game interview, Boston was asked about playing alongside Clark on such a big stage. Without hesitation, she lit up with praise.
“She’s incredible,” Boston said with a smile. “Caitlin has brought so much energy and attention to our team and the entire league. She’s an amazing player, but more importantly, she’s a great teammate and a great person.”
The All-Star Game was Clark’s first since joining the WNBA, and although she’s faced intense scrutiny and physical play throughout her rookie season, her positive attitude and dedication haven’t gone unnoticed by fellow players.
Boston continued:
“People don’t realize how hard she works behind the scenes. She’s constantly trying to get better, asking questions, wanting to learn. That’s something you can’t teach.”
Fans flooded social media with heart emojis and supportive comments after seeing the clip of Boston’s shoutout:
“Aliyah is such a great leader for the Fever. Love seeing this support between teammates.”
“Women lifting women up. This is what sports should be about.”
Caitlin Clark has yet to respond publicly, but she’s previously spoken about how grateful she is to have veterans like Aliyah Boston guiding her through her first year in the league.
As the Fever continue their push towards the playoffs, one thing is clear: their chemistry off the court is just as strong as their fight on it.
